Health Care Resource Centers New Bedford offers specialized substance use disorder treatment to support individuals on their path to overcoming opioid addiction. We provide a compassionate and judgement-free environment, guiding you through each phase of your recovery with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and expert care. Our treatment center proudly serves residents throughout the greater New Bedford area, including nearby towns such as Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Acushnet, and Freetown—all within a 45-minute drive. We customize our treatments to meet the unique needs of each patient we serve, ensuring that we address the specific challenges our patients face.
We offer a variety of services designed to support your recovery, including:
Our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program utilizes methadone, an effective medication for managing withdrawal symptoms and reducing cravings, allowing you to focus on long-term recovery.
We offer Buprenorphine treatment, a medication that effectively reduces opioid cravings and alleviates withdrawal symptoms. With its partial agonist nature, Buprenorphine has a lower risk of misuse compared to other treatments like methadone. This option provides flexibility and convenience, enabling patients to receive effective care with fewer visits, all while continuing their daily routines.
We provide individual, group, and family counseling to help address the emotional and psychological challenges of addiction. Our counselors work with you to understand the underlying causes of addiction and to help you build healthy coping strategies.
In addition to methadone treatment and counseling, we provide services to further support your recovery:
Our treatment center fosters a welcoming and non-judgemental atmosphere, where you can feel safe and supported throughout your recovery journey.
